Frosta: Viking Laws, Churches & Monasteries
Guided historical experience on Frosta, from the Viking Age assembly site to today's monastic life on Tautra. 2 hours, May–September.

Guided historical experience on Frosta
Join a journey through a thousand years of Norwegian history. On Frosta, chieftains and farmers from all over Trøndelag met at the Frostating, one of the country's most important law assemblies, long before Magnus the Lawmender united Norway under one national law in 1274.
The guide takes you from Tinghaugen via the medieval church at Logtun to the monastery ruins and Mariaklosteret on Tautra. The tour ends at Klostergården, where you can stay on and enjoy food and drink from the farm.
