Mountain tour at Frosta
Three peaks on one loop: Bjønnbettet, Litjheia and Storheia, with views from the Skarnsund Bridge to Trollheimen.
Nordfjellet: three peaks and the whole fjord beneath you
At the far end of Frosta, on the border with Levanger, lies Nordfjellet with Bjønnbettet, Litjheia and Storheia. We walk a proper loop over all three peaks, with views over the Trondheimsfjord, Innherred and Trondheim, from the Skarnsund Bridge in the north to Trollheimen in the south.
The first climb is steep and takes around an hour. After that it gets easier, and we take breaks when the group needs them. Nature guide Erlend knows Frosta inside out and guides the hike.

How demanding is the hike?

What do I need to bring?
Hiking boots, a backpack with extra clothes, drinks and something to eat.
Is the tour suitable for children?
Yes, for children who are used to hiking. We adapt the pace to the group.
