RIB safari in the Trondheimsfjord

The Trondheimsfjord is one of Norway's most beautiful fjords. This RIB tour will take you to the most exciting places in the Åsenfjord and Lofjord. With an experienced guide behind the wheel, we will give you a wonderful experience on the sea in beautiful surroundings. Experiencing the Trondheimsfjord by RIB will give you first-hand experiences you will never forget.

You will have moments where you get close to the sea and the wildlife around the coast, the experience of adrenaline and relevant areas worth visiting around the Trondheimsfjord.

The Trondheimsfjord is located in the middle of Norway, and stretches along several cities, peninsulas and places that are definitely worth visiting. Here you will get a fill of historical knowledge about the area, the bustling wildlife and other things worth noting when visiting the Trondheimsfjord. Among the exciting birds we can spot are the white-tailed eagle, eider and guillemot. There are also a lot of porpoises to discover in the Trondheimsfjord!

The guide will meet you at the pier at the agreed time and take you down to the boat where the tour will start and end. It is not necessary to bring any equipment. We will provide floatation suits.

Pilegrimsbåten

I perioden 12. juni til 17. august 2026 tilbys det båttransport over Trondheimsfjorden mellom Tautra brygge på Frosta og Trondheim. Tilbudet er utviklet for pilegrimer og andre som ønsker en alternativ og stemningsfull forbindelse mellom Frosta og Nidaros, og gjennomføres av Havbris AS i samarbeid med Regionalt Pilegrimssenter Stiklestad.

Det er faste avganger to dager i uken, mandag og fredag.

Båten går fra Tautra, ved seilforeningen klokken 10.00, og fra Trondheim (Brattøra) klokken 11.00.

Billettprisen er kr 750 per person pr veg. Reisende kan ta med sykkel mot et tillegg på kr 150, med kapasitet for inntil fire sykler per tur. Dersom man har med ekstra bagasje utover vanlig tursekk, tilkommer et tillegg på kr 50. Hver avgang har plass til maksimalt 12 passasjerer.

Gjennomføring av turene forutsetter at minst fire personer har bestilt innen klokken 18.00 dagen før avreise. Dersom påmeldingen er lavere enn dette, blir avgangen innstilt. Turene gjennomføres også med forbehold om forsvarlige værforhold, og kan av sikkerhetsmessige årsaker avlyses på kort varsel. Ved avlysning varsles dette på Havbris AS sine informasjonskanaler og Facebook-gruppe «Hiking along St. Olavsleden», samt direkte til passasjerer som har forhåndsbestilt.

Island visit to Tautra

Known for its unique history and location, The monastery garden on Tautra is a classic and beautiful place to visit. The family-run restaurant with Ståle and Jørn, offers fantastic local food with hand-picked ingredients from their own farm. Jørn is also a master beer brewer, and can therefore offer an exquisite meal with home-produced food and drinks. Next to the restaurant there is a souvenir shop and perennial nursery, where you can freely choose your favorites. Here you can dream away and choose from locally produced beer, handmade decorations, unique interior or other treasures. Behind The monastery garden restaurant you will also find the ruins of the old Monk Monastery, which is definitely worth visiting when you first stop by Tautra!

Tautra is also home to Norway's most modern St. Mary's Monastery, where we can visit the church. The church is open every day. The monastery is well known for those who want to find themselves and peace. This is especially evident through the monastery's beautiful design with floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide an authentic and very special contact with nature, and provide space for time and reflection. The nuns at St. Mary's Monastery is also known for producing beautiful soaps, fragrances and other homemade treasures. All of this you can see, smell and find at the outlet right next door. Seagull
Seagull er en fin restaurant med uteterrasse og innendørs servering, plassert i idylliske Åsenfjord. Her serveres antakelig Norges beste fiskesuppe, som baserer seg på ferske råvarer og de lokale produsentene. Videre kan du få ferske kanelsnurrer og lokal øl fra Klostergården. 100 meter fra Sjøbua legger vi til kai, og herfra kan du oppleve det fantastiske skjærgården i Åsenfjorden med RIB.

Frosts newest hotel with beach bar and view with fantastic sunsets. Here you can look forward to an excellent meal in a beautiful view and modern style. The striking menu makes it difficult to choose how briefly everything tempts. The floating pier is located right next to the hotel and we adapt several activities to this gem.
