Tautra is one of the Trondheimsfjorden protected ramsa areas. We take you to a lush and bustling bird life in magnificent surroundings. In the bird tower, you can observe everything from mallards to havies to yellow-billed flowers. This tour is perfect for those who want to get up close and personal with the bird life. 

Tautra is an island in Frosta municipality, and is known for its protected bird reserve and the historic monastery. When you visit Tautra, you can also include a visit to Klostergården and to Mariaklosteret, which is a stone's throw away. 

The guide will meet you at the car park and take you to the bird tower. If you don't have binoculars with you, we'll make sure you can borrow them from us. In wonderful surroundings with a view of the Trondheimsfjorden and Trondheim, we have Tautra's flora and fauna in our show. The trip initially lasts 1.5 hours, but can be extended on request.
