Frosta is known for its beautiful fjord landscape in the Trondheimsfjord. In the inner parts of Frosta, we have a nice mountain area with good hiking opportunities. On the border with Levanger we find Bjønnbettet, Litjheia and Storheia (Nordfjellet). We take you on a real tour where we climb these three mountains. This trip requires you to be equipped with good hiking shoes. The nature guide Erlend, who is well-known at Frosta, is their guide. This tour is suitable for families and couples, and the tour is adapted to their needs.

From Bjønnbettet, Litjheia and Storheia we have fantastic views over the Trondheimsfjorden, Frosta, Innherred and Trondheim. We can see the Skarnsund Bridge in the north and all the way over Trollheimen in the south. The hike up to the first peak is steep and takes approx. 60 minutes. The whole round trip takes 3 hours. We will of course take breaks along the way if we see that we need it.

The guide meets you at the car park and takes you to Nordfjellet. You need a bag with extra clothes, drinks and snacks for yourself. The terrain requires you to have hiking boots.
