Experience the entire Frostastien – a scenic route that takes you through varied terrain, from open fields and beautiful flower meadows to forested hills and coastlines with panoramic views of the fjord. We stop along the way to enjoy the views and gain insight into Frosta’s history, nature and local traditions. For those of you who like to cycle on more varied surfaces, we offer a forest trail tour where we follow exciting paths through the forest landscape at Frosta. Here we cycle on both gravel roads and narrow forest paths, which provides a playful and fun experience for those of you who want a bit more mountain biking. The tour also gives you good opportunities to see wildlife and experience the quiet silence of the forest.

Historical Bike Tour: Tinghaugen, Logtun Church and Tautra (3 hours) – NOK 1490 per person
Join us on a journey back in time! On this tour we cycle past some of Frosta's most important historical sites. We start at Tinghaugen, where the Frostatinget – one of Norway's oldest parliaments – was held as early as the 9th century. We then visit Logtun Kirke, a beautiful medieval church from the 12th century, before continuing towards the monastery ruins at Tautra. Here you will hear about the monks who founded the monastery in the 13th century and how the nunnery continues the spiritual legacy today.
