But in Tr\u00f8ndelag too, they dance across the sky when conditions are right. The picture above is from Tinghaugen on Frosta.<\/p>\n<h2>When?<\/h2>\n<p>You need darkness and clear skies. From September to March the nights are long enough. Keep an eye on aurora forecasts and the weather, and be ready at short notice.<\/p>\n<h2>Where?<\/h2>\n<p>Get away from city lights. Frosta has open fields and a clear view north across the fjord.
